Please enjoy this long-established taste in which was created in 1894 Meiji era. It is a Nara (near Kyoto) pickled dish made from Japanese cucumbers, gourd and watermelon soaked in sake lees that created a mellow taste. You may enjoy it with your sandwich, as a hors d'oeuvre (An appetizer served before a meal) with alcoholic drinks.
